The spanish composer Manuel Martinez Burgos appreciated a lot “(...) the rare mixture of strength and delicacy in Simone’s performances”.

After Simone’s debut concert in Denver (Colorado - USA), it has been written: « (…) I felt exhilarated after the concert, in a way I had not experienced before. It was indeed a magical evening.  Simone plays with exceptional virtuosity and sensitivity (…). But what distinguishes Simone is his boyish charm and the joyful manner in which he interacts with the musicians in the orchestra as he is playing.  He smiles, now at the viola section, now at the first cellist, etc. as they provide their accompaniments.  He is like those rare athletes who by their mere presence make other athletes on the team play better.  I believe everyone in the audience was as elated as I was. It was a performance that will remain with me always. »

Simone Spadino performs on a very fine Italian violin made by Lorenzo Storioni (Cremona, 1785) kindly on loan from “Florian Leonhard Fine Violins” (London), he uses a very fine Nicolas Rémy Maire bow (Mirecourt, 1870) kindly on loan from “Eriks Geigenbau” (Vienna) and his own “Ex-Volochine” fine old French bow by Mars August Husson (Paris, 1925).
